Becky Utecht lives in Ogilvie, Minnesota. She raises sheep and makes art, specializing in feltmaking. Using the wool from her flock of longwool sheep, she creates two- and three-dimensional felt art pieces including wall art, garments, accessories, and rugs. Felting combines her love of animals and nature with her passion for art. She has been teaching and sharing the magic of felting with others for over a decade. She has studied with many renowned artists through arts grant funding and on her own. Her felt artwork has been included in The New York Times and 500 Felt Objects and has won awards in fine art shows, fiber arts exhibits, and wool festivals.
