Pamela MacGregor

Pamela is a retired art teacher and award winning felt artist. She is living just outside of scenic Grand Rapids, Ohio on a small farm. She is still impassioned with traditional wet felting and finds felting energizing in its versatility and the medium pushes her into constant and exciting engineering challenges. She has taught felting classes in her studio as well as throughout the United States, Europe and Australia. Her work has been purchased for museums, exhibited both nationally, internationally and has been published in many international magazines, 500 Felt Objects, The Colours of Felt, and Dimensional Cloth: Sculpture by Contemporary Textile Artists. Midwest Felting Symposium is where she first began teaching felt making and is now ending her national and international teaching career at The 2018 Midwest Felting Symposium. She will continue to work on exhibition pieces and teach privately out of her studio.
